Over the summer, we shared state and local jurisdictions with minimum wage increases in the second half of 2025. The trend of additional minimum wage legislation at the state and local level will continue in 2026. As a reminder, when federal, state, and local rates differ, employers must pay the highest applicable rate.
In an effort to help employers across the U.S. keep up with these changes, here's a list of all state and local minimum wage increases in 2026. For more details, please refer to ADP's excellent resource, State and Local Minimum Wage Rates.
